The path that led me to photography as a profession…
As a child, I lived in many different places across the country. Each place, with its unique landscape and interesting people, expanded my vision for beauty and culture. Each place opened my eyes to people – the way they interact with each other and their environment. Each person, every subject, every landscape I have ever photographed is a part of me. Every photo helped me develop who I am today.
I believe my clients feel that connection, the drive behind the things and people I photograph. That connection makes each and every shoot feel natural. I hear continually from my clients that they are so relaxed and at ease during their shoot. There is no greater compliment I can receive!
I am fascinated by human emotions, experiences and the complexity that each subject brings into my world. Each shot is a chance to try and capture a bit of someones personality. Every one of us is unique – I pride myself on capturing those nuances that sometimes surprises the subject themselves.
My experiences have led me all over the country and helping my community at home. I continually partner with local non-profit, schools and charities to help these organizations through photography bring awareness and financial needs to benefit our community that supports all of us. I am proud to have photographed people for Fortune 500, 5280 magazine the Denver Business Journal and was featured in 2007 Wall Street Journal. In 2013 I received an award from the city of Northglenn for outstanding business of the year.
